EDUCAÇÃO NÃO FORMAL DE CRIANÇAS: O SUPLEMENTO INFANTIL DO JORNAL “A TRIBUNA” DE SANTOS
O texto a seguir apresenta os
resultados de uma pesquisa cujo objetivo foi
analisar as representações sociais presentes
no suplemento infantil do jornal A Tribuna,
da cidade de Santos, no seu primeiro ano de
circulação, 1960. Os autores analisaram as
redações infantis escolhidas para constar do
suplemento entre o primeiro número, datado
de 24 de agosto de 1960 e o último, datado da
última semana de dezembro de aquele ano. No
total foram analisados dezenove exemplares.
Constatou-se que os textos, em sua quase
totalidade, apresentavam um discurso
nacionalista, condizente com a intenção da
formação da identidade nacional das crianças.

Abstract:
The following text presents the
results of a research whose objective was to
analyze the social representations present in
the children’s supplement of the newspaper A
Tribuna, of the city of Santos, in its first year
of circulation, 1960. The authors analysed
the children’s essays chosen to appear in the
supplement between the first number, dated
August 24, 1960, and the last, dated the
last week of December of that year. In total,
nineteen numbers were analyzed. It was found
that the texts, in their almost totality, presented
a nationalist discourse, consistent with the
intention of the formation of the national identity
of the children.
