EDUCAÇÃO LINGUÍSTICA AOS TRABALHADORES DO PROJETO PROFISSÃO CATADOR DA UNICRUZ: ORGANIZANDO SABERES PARA O EXERCÍCIO DA CIDADANIA
A extensão acadêmica possibilita
a criação de um espaço de interlocução da
universidade com a sociedade, contribuindo
para sua autonomia e desenvolvimento. Deve
ter como objetivo a busca pela emancipação dos
envolvidos, evitando situações de dependência
e assistencialismo. A educação, seja ela formal
ou não, deve ter como finalidade fazer com que o
sujeito se sinta livre da opressão, da ignorância
e da invisibilidade social. Pelo domínio da língua
é que ele adquire conhecimentos, podendo,
assim, argumentar com propriedade, defender
sua opinião, exigir seus direitos, para poder
exercer sua cidadania. Tendo por base esses
princípios, o Projeto de Extensão “Educação
Formal às Famílias do Projeto Profissão
Catador: Organizando Saberes para a Formação
Cidadã”, aqui discutido e relatado, surge como
uma iniciativa social de educação linguística
aos participantes do Projeto Profissão Catador,
desenvolvido pela Universidade de Cruz Alta/
RS.

Abstract:
The academic extension allows
the creation of a space of interlocution of the
university with the society, contributing to its
autonomy and development. It must aim at
the emancipation of those involved, avoiding
situations of dependency and assistance.
Education, whether formal or otherwise, should
aim to make the subject feel free of oppression,
ignorance and social invisibility. The domain of
language is that it acquires knowledge, and can
thus argue with propriety, defend its opinion, demand its rights, to be able to exercise
its citizenship. Based on these principles, the Extension Project “Formal Education for
Families of the Profession Project Collector: Organizing Knowledge for Citizen Training”,
discussed and reported here, emerges as a social initiative of language education to
the participants of the Profession Project Collector, developed by University of Cruz
Alta / RS.
