Abstract: This study seeks to analyze how the historical social effects, a result of Colonialism, reflect on the importance of literature and storytelling in the anti-racist teaching-learning process, highlighting how this historical process was achieved in Early Childhood Education against the alienation and misinformation of facts and of historical and social approaches, above all, because it is still challenging for Educators to act in the activity of storytelling and that they know how to include anti-racist historical content in the teaching/learning process, as an instrument of representativeness, even if it still has to face the scarcity of stories and studies of anti-racist children's literature aimed at the initial years of formation.
