EDUCAÇÃO INTEGRAL: EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL E SUSTENTABILIDADE NO MUNICÍPIO DE ARARAQUARA/ SP
O presente artigo tem por objetivo analisar a questão ambiental brasileira no espaço de uma escola de Educação Integral e sua atuação nos diversos equipamentos públicos e privados do município de Araraquara – SP. A pesquisa se pautou na bibliografia específica acerca do tema, e nas políticas de Educação Ambiental mediante projeto e ação escolar. Partiu-se das agendas sobre a temática, da primeira Conferência Internacional em Estocolmo capital da Suécia em 1972 e abriu os debates para o mundo em torno do conceito de desenvolvimento sustentável, levando - se em conta a poluição do nosso planeta, do qual as reflexões giraram em torno da melhoria da qualidade da vida humana dentro dos limites da capacidade de suporte dos ecossistemas – surgindo deste então o termo “Sustentabilidade”. A pesquisa de campo, com abordagem empírica, analisou a mudança de comportamento/atitude dos alunos no quesito do descarte correto de materiais. O que se pretendeu elucidar neste trabalho é que trabalhar a consciência ambiental de nossos alunos prevê ser uma das possíveis ações de enfrentamento a poluição do planeta, juntamente, com políticas públicas fomentadas pelas redes, Municipais, Estaduais e Privadas.

Abstract:
This article aims to analyze the Brazilian environmental issue in the space of a school of Integral Education and its performance in the various public and private facilities in the municipality of Araraquara - SP. The research was based on the specific bibliography on the subject, and on Environmental Education policies through school projects and actions. It started from the agendas on the subject, from the first International Conference in Stockholm capital of Sweden in 1972 and opened the debates to the world around the concept of sustainable development, taking into account the pollution of our planet, of which the reflections revolved around improving the quality of human life within the limits of the carrying capacity of ecosystems – hence the term “Sustainability”. The field research, with an empirical approach, analyzed the change in behavior/attitude of students regarding the correct disposal of materials. What was intended to elucidate in this work is that working on the environmental awareness of our students is expected to be one of the possible actions to face the pollution of the planet, together with public policies promoted by networks, Municipal, State and Private
