Abstract: The article examines the challenges and opportunities faced in the school context during the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on the Professor Francelino de Freitas Municipal School of Early Childhood Education, located on Ilha Cacoal, in Cametá, Pará. The analysis focuses on pedagogical practices to overcome learning difficulties in the post-pandemic period, addressing the use of remote media, the investigation of the teaching-learning process in early childhood education and the strategies adopted to overcome obstacles. It is justified by the need to rethink pedagogical practices and teacher training in times of crisis. It is qualitative, bibliographic, and empirical research, with a case study approach.
