Abstract: The article Inclusive Education in Focus: Legislation, Challenges and Practices, also reflects on its application in public schools, since Salamanca (1994) has drawn the attention of researchers, the legislative branch, pedagogues, and educators in general, so that this right prevails for children with special needs in education. Furthermore, the word inclusion is discussed in education due to its specificities, from diverse perspectives, and its epistemology aims to look at the differences and value them by all education professionals and families of these special students, since it is known that the main characteristic of the human being is their plurality, and not just equality. Therefore, and considering the legal arguments for inclusion, according to LDB 9394/96, is what constitutes the objective of this bibliographical work and documentary analysis. Therefore, based on the readings carried out, it is necessary to consider that the school environment of a student with special needs is different, therefore, it requires more attention in the teaching modalities.
