EDUCAÇÃO EM SOLOS NO CONTEXTO URBANO: UMA EXPERIÊNCIA DO PROJETO “SOLO NA ESCOLA” NO PARQUE CIENTEC/USP
Este trabalho é uma reflexão
acerca da experiência do projeto Solo na
Escola (USP), que buscou investigar como
os estudantes compreendem a relação
entre natureza e meio urbano, e quais são
as apropriações concretas que fazem dos
conteúdos normativos que circulam nas escolas
- e no nosso caso em específico, no projeto
Solo na Escola - e das suas experiências ao
nível do que vivem cotidianamente na cidade.
A pesquisa foi realizada através de entrevistas
com os estudantes que participaram do projeto
durante o ano de 2014, e nos indicaram novos
caminhos para pensar a educação em solos:
trata-se de superar inicialmente a premissa de
que em maior quantidade e melhor qualidade
os conteúdos sobre o solo irão solucionar as
lacunas encontradas nesta área atualmente, e
sim reconhecer que elas existem e necessitam
ser enfrentadas, mas, sobretudo, que é preciso
compreender as contradições que caracterizam
o lugar social da natureza nas grandes cidades,
e este é o primeiro passo para se (re)pensar a
relação homem-natureza

Abstract:
This work is a reflection about
the education project entitled “Soil in the
School”(USP) which sought to investigate how
students understand the relationship between
nature and the urban environment, and what
are the specific appropriations they make about
normative content that circulates in schools - and
our case in particular, in the project Soil in School
- and their experiences at the level of daily living
in the city. The survey was conducted through
interviews with students who participated in
the project during the year 2014, and indicated
new ways of thinking about education in soil:
it is initially overcome the assumption that a
greater quantity and better quality of soil content
will solve the gaps found in this area currently,
but recognize that they exist and need to be
combated, but, above all, that we must critically
understand the social role of nature in cities is
determined, and this is the first step to (re) think
the man-nature relationship.
