EDUCAÇÃO EM SAÚDE SOBRE TRANSPLANTE E DOAÇÃO DE ÓRGÃOS
Objetivou-se descrever uma ação de educação em saúde sobre transplante e doação de órgãos junto a pacientes hepatopatas crônicos e seus cuidadores. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, qualitativo, na forma de um relato de experiência de uma atividade educativa conduzida por discentes do 4º semestre do Curso de Medicina de uma instituição de ensino pública localizada em Fortaleza-Ceará. A atividade foi desenvolvida no Ambulatório de Transplante Hepático do Hospital Universitário Walter Cantídio no mês de maio de 2018 e teve como participantes 30 pessoas, entre pacientes e cuidadores. Para a realização da atividade educativa foi utilizada a técnica da exposição dialogada mediada por apresentação na forma de slide e vídeo, a dinâmica “mitos e verdades” e um folder informativo. Ao longo da execução da atividade, foi possível perceber que houve uma excelente receptividade do público-alvo, expressa pela atenção dispensada e pela participação ativa. Durante a atividade, os pacientes apresentaram relacionadas tanto às hepatopatias crônicas que ocasionam o transplante, quanto ao processo que norteia a doação de órgãos. Dentre as facilidades encontradas para a realização da atividade podem ser citadas a infraestrutura da sala de espera e a participação da Coordenadora do serviço. Por sua vez, o fato de nem todos os pacientes e cuidadores terem permanecido até o final da atividade foi identificado como dificuldade. A condução da vivência oportunizou a fixação de conhecimentos por parte dos acadêmicos, bem como uma melhor compreensão sobre o processo de espera para o transplante e a triagem dos pacientes elegíveis. Para os pacientes e cuidadores, a atividade representou um momento de aprendizagem a partir do diálogo e da reflexão, promovendo o esclarecimento de dúvidas e desmistificação de crenças sobre o tema.

Abstract:
The objective of this study was to describe an action of health education on organ transplantation and donation to chronic liver patients and their caregivers. This is a descriptive, qualitative study, in the form of an experience report of an educational activity conducted by students of the 4th semester of the Medicine Course of a public educational institution located in Fortaleza-Ceará. The activity was developed at the Liver Transplant Outpatient Clinic of the University Hospital Walter Cantídio in May 2018 and had as participants 30 people, among patients and caregivers. For the accomplishment of the educational activity was used the technique of dialogic exhibition mediated by presentation in the form of slide and video, the dynamic "myths and truths" and an informative folder. During the execution of the activity, it was possible to perceive that there was an excellent receptivity of the target public, expressed by the attention paid and the active participation. During the activity, the patients presented related to both the chronic liver diseases that cause the transplant, and the process that guides the donation of organs. Among the facilities found for the accomplishment of the activity can be mentioned the infrastructure of the waiting room and the participation of the Service coordinator. In turn, the fact that not all patients and caregivers remained until the end of the activity was identified as difficulty. The conduction of the experience facilitated the setting of knowledge by the academic, as well as a better understanding about the waiting process for the transplantation and the screening of eligible patients. For the patients and caregivers, the activity represented a moment of learning based on dialogue and reflection, promoting clarification of doubts and demystification of beliefs about the theme.
