EDUCAÇÃO EM ESPAÇOS NÃO ESCOLARES: ELABORAÇÃO DE RECURSO DIDÁTICO PARA O ENSINO DE PARASITOLOGIA
Metodologias tradicionais, como
aulas expositivas, ainda dominam o ensino de
Ciências e Biologia na escola básica. Com isso
as parcerias realizadas entre escolas e espaços
dedicados à ampliação pública das ciências
surgem como possibilidades pedagógicas para
a educação científica dos educandos e para
a formação docente. A formação do professor
que problematize a natureza social e educativa
desses espaços, além das contribuições
que oferece para alfabetização e letramento
científico, torna-se experiência formativa de
grande valor para o exercício da docência.
Este texto socializa o processo de planejamento
e produção do recurso denominado “Caixa
Interativa: O Parasito ao Alcance dos Olhos”.
Promovendo a interatividade, este recurso
busca favorecer o diálogo, trazendo-o através
da quebra de barreiras entre o conhecimento
popular e a produção científica brasileira
acerca dos parasitos, bem como possibilitar
a alfabetização e letramento científico e a
acessibilidade, na medida em que estimula
o uso de diversos sentidos e disponibiliza
informações em braile.

Abstract:
Traditional methodologies, such
as expository lectures, are still dominating
the teaching of sciences and biology in early
school. For this reason, associations formed
between schools and spaces dedicated to the
public maximization of sciences are born as
pedagogical possibilities for both the scientific
education of learners and the formation of
teachers. A formation of teachers intent on
problematizing the social and educational
nature of those spaces not only contributes to
the processes of alphabetization and science
literacy, but also comes to be a formative
experience of great value for the practice of
teaching. The present paper socializes the
process of planning and production of a resource
named “Interactive Box: The Parasite Withing
the Reach of the Eyes” (“Caixa Interativa: O
Parasito ao Alcance dos Olhos”). By the means
of promoting interactivity, this tool aims to favor the dialogue, conceiving it from the
break down of barriers which poses between popular knowledge and the brazilian
scientific production concerning parasites, as well as to enable the alphabetization,
scientifc literacy and accessibility, since it stimulates the use of many physical senses
and makes available information in braile.
