EDUCAÇÃO E RELIGIOSIDADE, UMA REFLEXÃO SOBRE À DIVERSIDADE CULTURAL DAS COMUNIDADES TRADICIONAIS NO BRASIL
O interesse na temática da religião pela geografia é fruto de um percurso cujo caminho perpassa a geografia humana e, por conseguinte, a geografia cultural. Nesse contexto, estudiosos como Zeny Rosendahl, Karina De Meneses, Christian Oliveira, Cássio Novo, José e Souza, entre outros, têm desenvolvido pesquisas cuja ênfase está na análise do espaço sagrado e do espaço profano. Este trabalho objetiva mostrar a importância de ensinar o respeito à diversidade cultural e religiosa das comunidades tradicionais no Brasil. Metodologicamente, este estudo caracteriza-se como uma revisão de literatura. Entender sobre cultura, e principalmente, o respeito à diversidade de culturas, é um dos pontos importantes descritos pela Base Nacional Comum Curricular. Nessa direção é previsto esse conhecimento em sala de aula, possibilitando que os alunos reconheçam, sejam possibilitados a refletir e, consequentemente, desenvolvam, desde cedo, o respeito e a valorização da diversidade cultural e religiosa das comunidades tradicionais brasileiras. O decreto de nº 6.040 de 2007 no § I do Art. 3 define as comunidades tradicionais como sendo aquelas que pertencem a um grupo cuja cultura se diferencia e se reconhece sob a perspectiva de uma organização social cujo modo de vida se mostra peculiar na sua reprodução cultural, social e religiosa. Desse modo, compreende-se a importância de valorizar, por meio do ensino formal e informal, a diversidade cultural e suas implicações religiosas no que tange às comunidades tradicionais em todo território brasileiro. Entendendo que a religião é um elemento cultural importante, nesse processo de construção da identidade cultural local, propõe-se aqui que haja mais espaços para a discussão e reflexão acerca dessa temática para possibilitar mudanças no que concerne a discriminação cultural e religiosa existente sobre às comunidades tradicionais no território brasileiro.

Abstract:
The interest in the theme of religion by geography is the result of a journey whose path runs through human geography and, therefore, cultural geography. In this context, scholars such as Zeny Rosendahl, Karina De Meneses, Christian Oliveira, Cássio Novo, José and Souza, among others, have developed research whose emphasis is on the analysis of sacred and profane space. This work aims to show the importance of teaching respect for the cultural and religious diversity of traditional communities in Brazil. Methodologically, this study is characterized as a literature review. Understanding about culture, and especially, respect for the diversity of cultures, is one of the important points described by the National Common Curricular Base. In this direction, this knowledge is foreseen in the classroom, enabling students to recognize, be enabled to reflect and, consequently, develop, from an early age, the respect and appreciation of the cultural and religious diversity of traditional Brazilian communities. Decree No. 6,040 of 2007 in § I of Art. 3 defines traditional communities as those belonging to a group whose culture differs and is recognized under the perspective of a social organization whose way of life is peculiar in its reproduction cultural, social and religious. Thus, it is understood the importance of valuing, through formal and informal education, cultural diversity and its religious implications with regard to traditional communities throughout Brazilian territory. Understanding that religion is an important cultural element, in this process of construction of the local cultural identity, it is proposed here that there be more spaces for discussion and reflection on this topic to enable changes regarding the cultural and religious discrimination existing in the communities in Brazilian territory.
