EDUCAÇÃO, DESAFIOS E DILEMAS DO SISTEMA PRISIONAL BRASILEIRO: GÊNERO E A MULHER ENCARCERADA
O objetivo da presente investigação é refletir sobre as práticas educativas existentes nas penitenciárias brasileiras, em especial, as direcionadas às mulheres, destacando sua posição na sociedade atual, especificidades de gênero e a garantia de seus direitos fundamentais à vida. Busca-se analisar o perfil das mulheres privadas de liberdade, os motivos pelos quais levaram à privação de liberdade, considerando o perfil socioeconômico e o grau de escolarização, evidenciando, assim, a influência do meio. Nesse contexto, a educação nos espaços prisionais surge como um aporte para a construção da autonomia, integração social e emancipação das mulheres que, por vezes, são omitidas pelo Estado. A pesquisa realizada possui caráter bibliográfico. Baseia-se nos estudos de referências publicadas, buscando o entendimento do tema em destaque e todas as indagações que norteiam o espaço prisional, além das condições das mulheres nesses espaços.

Abstract:
The object of the present investigation is to reflect on the existing educational practices in the Brazilian penitentiaries, especially those directed to women, highlighting their current social position, gender specifics and the guarantee of their fundamental rights to life. Seeking to analyze the profile of women deprived of liberty, the reasons that brought about the deprivation of liberty, considering the socioeconomic profile and the level of education, which gives evidence to the influence of the environment. In this context, the education in prison spaces comes as a contribution to building autonomy, social integration and emancipation of women that sometimes are omitted by the State. The research conducted has a bibliographic character. It is based on the studies of published references, seeking to understand the highlighted topic and all the inquiries that guide the prison space, in addition to the conditions of women in these spaces.
