Educação ambiental faz referência
a um contexto pedagógico que visa amplificar
a conscientização do homem em relação à
preservação do planeta em seu imenso contexto.
Baseia-se em algumas filosofias utilizadas na
antiguidade, e com ideias de propostas atuais.
A preocupação com a preservação cresce
substancialmente, e fazer com que nossas
crianças cresçam com essa consciência seja
o maior desafio. Ao olhar de Edgar Morin
essa conscientização depende do despertar
para o papel do indivíduo no universo, essa
conscientização depende do autoconhecimento
do indivíduo e sua percepção como homem
natural físico e cósmico. Desenvolver seres
humanos responsáveis e conscientes é o único
caminho para a preservação da nossa própria
espécie e para o desenvolvimento da cultura
cientifico-ambiental-social.

Abstract:
Environmental education refers
to a pedagogical context that aims to amplify
the consciousness of man in relation to the
preservation of the planet in its immense
context. It is based on some philosophies
used in antiquity, and with ideas of current
proposals. The concern for preservation is
growing substantially, and making our children
grow up with that awareness is the biggest
challenge. When looking at Edgar Morin this
awareness depends on awakening to the role
of the individual in the universe, this awareness
depends on the individual’s self-knowledge
and their perception as a natural physical
and cosmic man. Developing responsible and
conscious human beings is the only way for
the preservation of our own species and for the
development of the scientific-environmentalsocial culture.
