EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL NA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL: UMA PROPOSTA COM A HORTA ECOLÓGICA ELABORADA PELA ONG ENGENHEIROS SEM FRONTEIRAS, NÚCLEO DE DIVINÓPOLIS/MG
O aumento dos problemas ambientais tem feito crescer na sociedade a busca por práticas sustentáveis e mudanças sociais, que promovem um equilíbrio ambiental e visem sua conservação. Neste contexto apresenta-se a Educação Ambiental, um instrumento que surgiu para auxiliar nesse enfrentamento de problemas ambientais e na construção de valores sociais. Sendo assim, o objetivo desse artigo é destacar que por meio de hortas agroecológicas em escolas é possível despertar nas crianças e em todos os envolvidos a vontade de construir um futuro sustentável, promovendo uma transformação social. Optou-se nesse artigo pela abordagem qualitativa com base na ferramenta observação participante, destacando a contribuição da horta agroecológica elaborada pela ONG Engenheiros Sem Fronteiras núcleo de Divinópolis/MG em uma escola dessa cidade e a importância da Educação Ambiental na educação infantil. Projetos com hortas escolares têm surgido no mundo todo e proporcionado resultados satisfatórios, como melhorias na educação, na alimentação e na conscientização do cuidado com o meio ambiente.

Abstract:
The increase in environmental problems has increased the search for sustainable practices and social changes in society, which promote environmental balance and aim at their conservation. In this context, Environmental Education is presented, an instrument that emerged to assist in facing environmental problems and in the construction of social values. Therefore, the objective of this article is to highlight that, through agroecological gardens in schools, it is possible to awaken in children and everyone involved the will to build a sustainable future, promoting social transformation. In this article, we chose the qualitative approach based on the participant observation tool, highlighting the contribution of the agroecological garden prepared by Engineers Without Borders in Divinopolis/MG in a school in that city and the importance of Environmental Education in early childhood education. Projects with school gardens have emerged all over the world and have provided satisfactory results, such as improvements in education, food and awareness of care for the environment.
