EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL E O LEGADO DE PIERRE BOURDIEU: A CONSTRUÇÃO DO CONCEITO DE HABITUS ECOLÓGICO.
As questões ambientais são objetos
de discussão nos mais variados setores da
sociedade, isso devido a grande importância
que esse assunto representa. Esse artigo
debate a construção epistemológica do campo
da educação ambiental e a necessidade de
mudança do paradigma cartesiano devido a
sua limitação em embasar a complexidade das
questões ambientais. Com base no conceito de
habitus do sociólogo Pierre Bourdieu, destacase
a relevância de se incorporar uma postura
ecológica, ou seja, o habitus ecológico. Dessa
forma, romper com a visão limitada com que
são tratadas as problemáticas ambientais.

Abstract:
Environmental issues are the
subject of discussion in various sectors of
society, due to the great importance that this
subject represents. This paper discusses the
epistemological construction of the field of
environmental education and the need to change
the Cartesian paradigm due to its limitation in
supporting the complexity of environmental
issues. Based on the sociologist Pierre
Bourdieu’s concept of habitus, we highlight the
relevance of incorporating an ecological stance,
that is, the ecological habitus. In this way, break
with the limited view with which environmental
issues are addressed.
