EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL COM OS TURISTAS DO PARNA DE UBAJARA SOBRE A HERPETOFAUNA
Anfíbios e répteis são geralmente
associados a crenças e mitos pela população, o
que pode contribuir para a morte indiscriminada
e recorrente desses animais. Esse trabalho
teve por objetivo realizar uma campanha de
conscientização acerca desses animais, tendo
sido realizado no Parque Nacional de Ubajara
(PARNA), localizado na Serra da Ibiapada, no
estado do Ceará. A execução do trabalho ocorreu
durante o período do carnaval de 2017. Foram
aplicados 100 questionários semiestruturados,
no que concerne a conhecimentos básicos
quanto ao grupo, com pessoas com idades
e níveis de escolaridades variadas. Foram
entrevistadas pessoas dos estados do Nordeste,
Sudeste e Sul. Referente ao conhecimento
dos entrevistados sobre répteis e anfíbios, a
maioria não respondeu corretamente, porém
os entrevistados demonstraram conhecer a
importância da herpetofauna para a natureza
e na cadeia alimentar, e que ao deparar-se
diante de um acidente ofídico, o procedimento
principal é a ida imediata ao hospital. Este
trabalho teve importância para a disseminação
do conhecimento e a conscientização das
pessoas de diversas regiões para uma maior
conscientização acerca da preservação da
herpetofauna.

Abstract:
Amphibians and reptiles are
generally associated with beliefs and myths
by the population, which may contribute to the
indiscriminate and recurrent death of these
animals. The objective of this work was to
carry out an awareness campaign about these
animals, which was carried out in the Ubajara
National Park (PARNA), located in the Serra da
Ibiapaba, in the state of Ceará. The execution
of the work occurred during the carnival period of 2017. A total of 100 semi-structured
questionnaires were applied, regarding basic knowledge about the group, with people
of varying ages and levels of schooling. People from the Northeast, Southeast and
South states were interviewed. Regarding the respondents’ knowledge about reptiles
and amphibians majority did not respond correctly, but the interviewees demonstrated
the importance of the herpetofauna for nature and the food chain, and that when faced
with an ophidian accident, the main procedure is the immediate trip to the hospital.
This work had importance for the dissemination of knowledge and the awareness of
the people of diverse regions for a greater awareness about the preservation of the
herpetofauna.
