EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL APLICADA – O CASO DE UMA ESCOLA RURAL, NOSSA SENHORA DO SOCORRO/SE
Entendemos que o fluxo de vida, responsável pela definição das relações de pertença entre o ser humano e a natureza, induzindo ao cuidado e/ou à conservação do meio ambiente, passa pela formação educacional que cada sujeito recebe desde os primeiros anos de vida. Dessa forma, o sujeito é induzido a comportamentos pautados nos princípios da sustentabilidade. A partir dessa premissa, esta pesquisa teve como objetivo levantar questionamentos e discutir com a comunidade, em foco, a respeito das possíveis contribuições da educação ambiental para uma mudança positiva na ampliação das ações, como também para o estabelecimento de relações com comportamentos de seus moradores. As discussões presentes neste trabalho tiveram como base textos que dialogam com as categorias sustentabilidade e educação ambiental, além da busca por trabalhos que abordaram o processo de surgimento e desenvolvimento, tanto do Povoado Estiva quanto da Floresta Nacional do Ibura, fundamentais para a análise e compreensão da necessidade de preservação do meio ambiente. Por fim, concluiu-se que as escolas são grandes parceiras da implementação de conhecimentos na base educacional, ação que alcança, em especial, as crianças e adolescentes das comunidades onde as mesmas estão instaladas. Além das escolas, percebemos que as organizações sociais, a exemplo das cooperativas e associações comunitárias, são importantes parceiras na implementação de ações integradoras que coadunam sentimento das comunidades de pertencimento ao meio ambiente e respeito aos seus processos vitais.

Abstract:
We understand that the flow of life, responsible for defining the relationships of belonging between human beings and nature, inducing care and/or conservation of the environment, involves the educational training that each subject receives from the first years of life. In this way, the subject is induced to behaviors based on the principles of sustainability. From this premise, this research aimed to raise questions and discuss with the community, in focus, about the possible contributions of environmental education for a positive change in the expansion of actions, as well as for the establishment of relationships with the behavior of its residents . The discussions in this work were based on texts that dialogue with the sustainability and environmental education categories, in addition to the search for works that addressed the process of emergence and development, both in the Estiva Village and in the Ibura National Forest, which are fundamental for the analysis and understanding the need to preserve the environment. Finally, it was concluded that schools are great partners in the implementation of knowledge in the educational base, an action that reaches, in particular, children and adolescents in the communities where they are located. In addition to schools, we realize that social organizations, such as cooperatives and community associations, are important partners in the implementation of integrative actions that combine the communities' feeling of belonging to the environment and respect for their vital processes.
