EDIÇÃO CRÍTICO-GENÉTICA DO POEMA
O poeta baiano Eulálio de Miranda
Motta (1907-1988) deixou uma grande
quantidade de poesias inéditas que estão
sendo editadas por um grupo de pesquisadores
da Universidade Estadual de Feira de SantanaBA. No acervo do escritor, há esboços de livros
que ele pretendia publicar, mas se mantiveram
inéditos. Um desses livros foi intitulado pelo
escritor como Luzes do Crepúsculo. Os textos
que integraram esse livro estão preservados
em cadernos, folhas avulsas e alguns foram
publicados em jornais e antologias com a
indicação de que fariam parte do livro Luzes do
Crepúsculo. O presente artigo tem como objetivo
apresentar a edição crítico-genética do poema
“Terra de Promissão”, que integra o referido
livro. O poema dispõe de dois testemunhos
(manuscritos), com variantes autorais que
permitem observar o texto em movimento. A
edição crítico-genética é o modelo editorial
mais adequado para esse tipo de documento
porque possibilita o estabelecimento do texto,
mas também oferece um aparato de variantes
e a análise das campanhas de escrita.
Portanto, a edição apresentada fundamentase na metodologia da crítica textual e da crítica
genética.

Abstract:
The bahian poet Eulálio de
Miranda Motta (1907-1988) left a great amount
of unpublished poetry that is being edited by a
group of researchers from the State University of
Feira de Santana-BA. In the writer’s collection,
there are sketches of books that he intended to
publish, but they remained unpublished. One
such book was titled by the writer as Lights of
Twilight.. The texts that were part of this book
are preserved in notebooks, separate sheets
and some were published in newspapers
and anthologies with the indication that they
would be part of the book Lights of Twilight.
This article aims to present the critical-genetic
edition of the poem Land of Promise, which is
part of this book. The poem has two testimonies
(manuscripts), with authorial variants that allow
to observe the text in movement. The criticalgenetic edition is the most appropriate editorial
model for this type of document because it
allows the establishment of the text, but also
offers an apparatus of variants and the analysis
of the writing campaigns. Therefore, the edition
presented is based on the methodology of textual criticism and genetic criticism.
