ECOLOGIA E CRISTIANISMO: o cuidado da casa comum
Nosso planeta está em desequilíbrio, os ciclos naturais estão sendo alterados em decorrência da compreensão dicotômica que separa o ser humano e a natureza, provocando danos irreparáveis e fazendo com os que os ecossistemas e suas comunidades sofram com a redução da fonte de recursos naturais. Alguns estudiosos acusaram as religiões judaico-cristãs de serem responsáveis pelo desrespeito à Natureza, uma vez que tais religiões são centradas na humanidade e têm uma visão linear do tempo, afirmam que o mundo teve início e terá um fim escatológico. Nessa perspectiva, fizemos uma análise crítica da relação dos cristãos com os cuidados ambientais, a partir de artigos bíblicos e acadêmicos no campo epistemológico das Ciências da Religião. Utilizamos como parâmetro de análise a abordagem ecológica interdisciplinar defendida por Leonardo Boff. Para reverter a situação ambiental atual, consideramos que é necessário interpretar a Bíblia na perspectiva ecológica, onde toda a criação faz parte do projeto de criação contínua e de redenção, onde o Reino de Deus será vivenciado por toda comunidade de vida, estando em plena harmonia com o Criador. É necessário reconhecer que tudo está interligado, que fazemos parte da mesma Casa comum. Todos precisam fazer sua parte, pois não haverá salvação se negligenciarmos o cuidado com o próximo, com os seres vivos e com os recursos ambientais. O cristão é convocado por Deus a ser instrumento de sua paz, servindo à Deus em seu Reino, através de ações que promovam melhorias nos campos sociais, econômico, político e ecológico, visando a uma melhor qualidade de vida, a partir da conservação do meio ambiente.

Abstract:
The earth's environment is imbalanced, natural cycles has been modifying as a result of the dichotomous understanding that separates human beings and nature, causing irreparable ambient degradation and suffering for the ecosystems and their communities due to the reduction of the source of natural resources. Some scientists have accused the Christian-Jewish religions of being responsible for the disrespect to nature, since such religions are centered on humanity and have a linear view of time, claiming that the world has started and will have an eschatological end. In this perspective, we made a critical analysis of the relationship between Christians and environmental care, based on articles related with the epistemological field of the religious sciences area. The mainly reference we used for this study was the interdisciplinary ecological approach defended by Leonardo Boff. To change the current environmental situation, we consider that it is needed to interpret the Bible from an ecological perspective, where all creation are part of the project of continuous creation and redemption, where the Kingdom of God will be experienced for all living beings in complete harmony with the God. It is necessary to recognize that everything is interconnected, that we live in a common house. Everyone needs to do their part, because there will be no redemption if we neglect to care for others, for living beings and environmental resources. The Christian is called by God to be an instrument of his peace, serving the Lord in his kingdom, through actions that promote improvements in the social, economic, political and ecological fields, aiming at a better quality of life, starting from the conservation of the environment.
