EAD EM PALMAS: O EGRESSO DO CURSO DE PEDAGOGIA COMO AGENTE DE TRANSFORMAÇÃO SOCIAL
O presente trabalho foi realizado nas
instituições de ensino da rede municipal e estadual
de Palmas e teve como objetivo investigar as
possíveis mudanças ocorridas no contexto sócioeconômico
dos egressos a partir da conclusão
do curso de Pedagogia (Turmas 2006, 2007 e
2008) na modalidade EaD, visando subsidiar as
contribuições para o desenvolvimento educacional,
cultural e social, como também fornecer dados
para as ações da Unitins no âmbito da educação
superior. A abordagem metodológica adotada foi
qualitativa e quantitativa; qualitativa, por tratarse
de uma pesquisa histórico-comparativa do
contexto social e de cunho quantitativo por requerer
usos de técnicas estatísticas para traduzir em
números, opiniões e informações os conteúdos
evidenciados no estudo. Para fundamentar o
trabalho foram utilizados os principais autores:
FREIRE, BELONI, GADOTTI, SAVIANI, FRIGOTTO,
KENSKI e CASTELS. Constatou-se que o curso
foi de fundamental importância, uma vez que
proporcionou ao egresso um novo olhar, um
novo horizonte a cada um, especialmente em
termos econômicos, pois após concluir o curso,
a ascensão profissional no cenário regional foi
positiva, bem como foi propício em seu ambiente
familiar, uma vez que muitos deles passaram a
participar da melhoria da qualidade de vida dos
seus familiares e de seus pares, canalizando para
o desenvolvimento de Palmas e o crescimento do
estado do Tocantins.

Abstract:
This work was carried out in educational
institutions of the state and municipal network
Palmas and aimed to investigate the possible
changes in the socio-economic context of the
graduates from the completion of the Faculty of
Education (classes 2006, 2007 and 2008) in the
form distance education, to subsidize contributions
to educational, cultural and social development,
but also provide data for Unitins shares in higher
education. The adopted methodological approach
was qualitative and quantitative; qualitative,
because it is a historical-comparative research
of the social context and quantitative nature to
require use of statistical techniques to translate
into numbers, reviews and information content
highlighted in the study. To support the work
the main authors were used: FREIRE, Beloni,
GADOTTI, Saviani, Frigotto, Kenski and CASTELS.
It was found that the course was of fundamental
importance, since it provided the egress a new
look, a new horizon every one, especially in
economic terms, because after completing the
course, the professional growth in the regional scenario was positive and it was suitable
in their family environment, since many of them have come to participate in improving
the quality of life of their families and peers, channeling the development of Palmas and
Tocantins state growth.
