E-BOOK SOBRE PREVENÇÃO DE COMPLICAÇÕES CAUSADAS PELA DOENÇA PERIODONTAL EM PACIENTES HOSPITALIZADOS
As infecções hospitalares são reconhecidas como importante problema de saúde pública, destacando-se a pneumonia nosocomial cujo aparecimento pode estar associado à colonização bacteriana do trato respiratório de pacientes hospitalizados entubados ou não. A doença periodontal é uma doença infecto inflamatória que pode agravar a suscetibilidade à PN nesses pacientes. Nesse contexto, a interdisciplinaridade dos profissionais que lidam com este paciente pode prevenir PN, por meio da transmissão de conhecimento com acesso facilitado pelos meios digitais (smartphones e tablets conectados à internet) tornando-se uma importante estratégia em saúde, sendo a quebra das barreiras do conhecimento uma ferramenta de inclusão social e de melhoria da saúde pública. Objetivo: Desenvolvimento de um e-book para prevenção de complicações causadas pela periodontite em pacientes hospitalizados. Método: Para o desenvolvimento do e-book foi utilizado o método “Design Thinking”, em seu formato de duplo diamante, dividido em quatro fases (Descobrir, Definir, Desenvolver e Entregar). O conteúdo teórico foi embasado cientificamente com levantamento bibliográfico apropriado. Sua construção teve como cerne a correta e eficaz transmissão do conhecimento para o público alvo. A validação do conteúdo foi realizada por meio da metodologia Delphi, com registro ISBN e divulgação online do e-book.

Abstract:
Hospital infections are recognized as an important public health problem, highlighting nosocomial pneumonia whose appearance may be associated with bacterial colonization of the respiratory tract of hospitalized patients with or without an intubation. Periodontal disease is an inflammatory infectious disease that can aggravate susceptibility to NP in these patients. In this context, the interdisciplinarity of the professionals who deal with this patient can prevent NP, through the transmission of knowledge with access facilitated by digital means (smartphones and tablets connected to the internet), becoming an important health strategy, breaking down barriers knowledge a tool for social inclusion and improvement of public health. Objective: Development of an e-book to prevent complications caused by periodontitis in hospitalized patients. Method: For the development of the e-book, the “Design Thinking” method was used, in its double diamond format, divided into four phases (Discover, Define, Develop and Deliver). The theoretical content was scientifically based with an appropriate bibliographic survey. Its construction was based on the correct and effective transmission of knowledge to the target audience. The content was validated using the Delphi methodology, with ISBN registration and online e-book dissemination.
