DOS MOVIMENTOS SOCIAIS À CONQUISTA DA TERRA: A LUTA PELA REFORMA AGRÁRIA EM MATO GROSSO DO SUL
A luta pela terra no Brasil é causada pela grande concentração fundiária existente, resultado da herança deixada pelos colonizadores, privilegiando o latifúndio e a monocultura, privilegiando um determinado grupo e excluindo outros. A Reforma Agrária é uma questão ampla e complexa pois, de um lado temos um grupo dominante e detentor dos latifúndios e de outro, os movimentos sociais que afirmam que as terras são improdutivas, passíveis de ocupação e consequentemente, de reforma agrária. É nesse impasse que frequentemente surgem conflitos. Sendo assim, este trabalho apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa acerca da reforma agrária e da relevância dos movimentos sociais nesse processo. Seu objetivo geral é de apontar a importância dos movimentos sociais na luta pela reforma agrária. Seus objetivos específicos consistem em contextualizar a reforma agrária no Brasil, apontar a importância dos movimentos sociais nesse processo e descrever as reformas agrárias no Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul. Para alcançar os objetivos propostos, optou-se pela revisão bibliográfica, de natureza qualitativa.

Abstract:
The struggle for land in Brazil is caused by the great existing concentration of land, resulting from the legacy left by the colonizers, privileging the latifundium and monoculture, privileging a certain group and excluding others. Agrarian Reform is a broad and complex issue because, on the one hand, we have a dominant group that owns the landowners and on the other, the social movements that claim that the land is unproductive, subject to occupation and, consequently, to land reform. It is in this impasse that conflicts often arise. Therefore, this work presents the results of a research about agrarian reform and the relevance of social movements in this process. Its general objective is to point out the importance of social movements in the struggle for land reform. Its specific objectives are to contextualize agrarian reform in Brazil, to point out the importance of social movements in this process and to describe agrarian reforms in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul. To achieve the proposed objectives, a qualitative bibliographic review was chosen.
