O seguinte artigo é de natureza bibliográfica e procura introduzir algumas

considerações históricas acerca da construção da oposição masculino/feminino a

partir de Pierre Bourdieu (2003) e Simone de Beauvoir (1963;1970) e seus efeitos

nos corpos de meninos e meninas para tornarem-se respectivos homens e mulheres.

Tentamos desenvolver a ideia de como o sexo biológico é eleito marcador que define

o gênero e a sexualidade, incorrendo, em seguida, nos dados apresentados por

Bourdieu e Beauvoir para servir de evidências argumentativas para apresentar a

escola como uma instituição de função transformadora, apesar de suas contradições

em reproduzir as estruturas patriarcais vigentes. Nossa conclusão apresenta um

funcionamento do gênero a partir de funções inconscientes, ordem social e de

socialização, apesar deste panorama, consideramos que os objetivos de um mundo

sustentável às igualdades e às diferenças entre homens e mulheres nas sociedades

atuais podem ser alcançadas através da educação com a) investimento simbólico na

formação de profissionais de educação, b) no uso da gestão democrática nas escolas

para atender as famílias e c) na autorreflexão dos agentes sociais.

Abstract:
The following article has bibliography nature and search introduce some

historics considerations about the construction of the male/female opposition by

Simone de Beauvoir (19633; 1970) and Pierre Bourdieu (2003) and their effects in

the bodies of boys and girls. We tried to develop the idea of how the biological sex is

elected a marker that defines the gender and the sexuality, incurring, then, in the

datas presented by Beauvoir and Bourdieu to serve as argumentative evidence to

showing the school as an institution of transforming function, although its

contradictions in reproduce the existing patriarchal structures. Our conclusion

present a gender operation by the unconscious functions, social order and

socialization, although this landscape, we consider that the objectives of an

sustainable world the to the equality and to the differences between man and women

in the present societies can be reached through education by: a) simbolic investment

in the training of educational professionals, b) in the use of a democratic

management in the schools to attend the families and c) in selfreflection of the social

agents.
