Abstract: The central objective of this study is to examine the prevalence of neglected diseases in the Brazilian territory and analyze the control strategies adopted by the Ministry of Health. The research was based on epidemiological data, scientific studies, and information provided by the Ministry of Health, analyzed to assess the prevalence and impact of neglected diseases. The results emphasize the urgent need to implement comprehensive approaches for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of these diseases. Current control strategies have proven insufficient to significantly reduce the incidence of these illnesses, highlighting the importance of more robust and sustainable measures. Epidemiological analysis revealed a persistent increase in incidence in various regions of Brazil, with vulnerable populations being the most affected. Gaps in access to adequate treatments and diagnostics were identified, underscoring the need to promote research and development of accessible solutions. International collaboration was also highlighted as crucial, as many of these diseases affect multiple countries and regions.
