Abstract: Introduction: The co-occurrence of ischemic vascular diseases with leukemia is not common in the community. However, there are many cases in which a person with leukemia, whether acute or chronic, or of any cell lineage, is affected by an ischemic disease, be it coronary or cerebrovascular (Yamamoto JF, 2017). Objective: Review the relationship between ischemic disease and leukemia. Result: The multiple thrombotic events experienced by patients are mainly due to leukemia, causing coagulopathy secondary to procoagulant content in abnormal promyelocyte granules (Siegel RL, 2016). Conclusion: In cases that cause multivessel ischemia, hematological diseases must be included in the etiological investigation. Possible pathologies should be evaluated by studying complete blood count, D-dimer and fibrinogen (Dohner H, 2017).
