DOCENTES AFRODESCENDENTES NO ENSINO SUPERIOR: REFLEXÕES SOBRE DADOS ESTATÍSTICOS RACIAIS
O presente artigo reflete acerca da realidade enfrentada pelos docentes negros/as no Ensino Superior, ao elegermos a questão da “Raça e Ensino Superior” em pesquisa de conclusão de curso na Licenciatura em Pedagogia da Universidade Federal de Campina Grande - UFCG, compreendemos que o processo histórico de exploração e desigualdades vivenciado pela população negra no Brasil, relaciona-se a uma das principais problemáticas levantadas no estudo e apresentadas neste artigo, que é a escassez da representatividade dos docentes negros/as nas instituições de Ensino Superior. O negro/a não teve possibilidades e suporte de políticas públicas para a inserção efetiva no meio educacional. Destarte, é relevante enfatizar também as dificuldades encontradas pelos poucos negros/as que conseguem essa ascensão e acesso a esses espaços considerados de prestígio social. Neste sentido, o artigo objetiva apresentar dados que expressam tais desigualdades no Ensino Superior. Metodologicamente o trabalho baseia-se num estudo bibliográfico e análise de dados estatísticos. Como suporte teórico utilizamos os seguintes autores Carvalho (2005), Silva (2008), Silva Junior (2011) entre outros, além de dados registrados pelo Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (2017), assim, possibilitando o aprofundamento acerca da discussão sobre a desigualdade racial no Ensino Superior.

Abstract:
This article reflects on the reality faced by black teachers at the university, when electing the question of “Race and Higher Education” in research at the conclusion of the degree in Pedagogy in Universidade Federal de Campina Grande, we understand that the historical process of exploitation and inequalities experienced by the black population in Brazil, relates to one of the main issues raised in the study and presented in this article, which is the scarcity of the representativeness of black teachers in higher education institutions. Black people were not supported by public policies for the effective insertion in the educational environment. Therefore, it is relevant to emphasize the difficulties encountered by the few black people,that achieve this rise and access to these spaces considered to be of social prestige. In this sense, the article aims to present data that express such inequalities in Higher Education, methodologically the work is based on a bibliographic study and analysis of statistical data. As theoretical support we use the following authors Carvalho (2005), Silva (2008), Silva Junior (2011), and others, also data recorded by the Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (2017), making it possible to deepen the discussion on racial inequality in Higher Education.
