DO PLANTIO AO CASAMENTO DA DONA BARATINHA.
O presente trabalho relata uma experiência de implantação de uma horta escolar ocorrida na Escola Estadual Cônego José Ermelindo de Souza, situada no município de Araponga em Minas Gerais. Em uma turma de Segundo Ano do Ensino Fundamental. Este trabalho iniciou no ano de 2018 e teve a culminância em 2019. Ao observar o espaço da escola, constatou-se que nos fundos da instituição havia um grande espaço vago cheio de mato. Apesar de essa área ser capinada, os matos indesejáveis acabavam por tomar conta de todo o espaço, já que esses cresciam muito rápido. Com a inquietação provocada pela necessidade de fazer algo naquele espaço e a procura de realizar práticas pedagógicas que fossem significativas e importantes para os estudantes e a escola, surgiu a ideia de implantar a horta e cultivar temperos e hortaliças, como a cenoura que foi um dos ingredientes principais para o preparo de um bolo delicioso feito especialmente para o casamento da Dona Baratinha.

Abstract:
The present work reports an experience of setting up a school garden that took place at the Cônego José Ermelindo de Souza State School, located in the city of Araponga in Minas Gerais. In a class of Second Year of Elementary School. This work began in 2018 and culminated in 2019. When observing the school space, it was found that at the back of the institution there was a large vacant space full of bush. Despite this area being weeded, undesirable scrub ended up taking over the entire space, as they grew very fast. With the disquiet caused by the need to do something in that space and the search to carry out pedagogical practices that were significant and important for students and the school, the idea arose to implant the vegetable garden and cultivate spices and vegetables, like the carrot that was one of the main ingredients for the preparation of a delicious cake made especially for Dona Baratinha's wedding.
