DO INGRESSO A PERMANÊNCIA: ESTUDOS SOBRE POLÍTICAS AFIRMATIVAS DE COTAS NO CURSO DE AGRONOMIA
Considerando-se que a educação
é um direito fundamental de todo ser humano,
sem qualquer distinção, direito este protegido
tanto pela legislação nacional quanto
pela internacional no âmbito dos direitos
humanos universais, percebeu-se que sua
regulamentação, para o Ensino Superior de
esfera federal, é muito recente. E, em razão
disso, há uma lacuna de iniciativas e pesquisas,
nessa esfera da educação, com o ingresso e
permanência de alunos que adentraram na
Universidade por meio de políticas afirmativas.
Sendo assim, o objetivo desse estudo foi
compreender a efetivação do sistema de cotas
do curso de Agronomia da UTFPR Campus
Dois Vizinhos. Para isso, foi realizado um
levantamento de dados quantitativos do sistema
acadêmico do Campus desde o segundo de
semestre de 2011, até o período atual, segundo
semestre de 2017. A análise quantitativa, buscou
relacionar os dados dos estudantes cotistas
que ingressaram, com os que evadiram, os
estudantes regulares com que os concluíram o
curso. Os resultados indicam de maneira geral
a efetivação das políticas afirmativas, por meio
da ocupação das vagas desatinadas ao sistema
de cotas.

Abstract:
Considering that education is
a fundamental right of every human being,
without any distinction, a right that is protected
both by national and international legislation in
the context of universal human rights, it was
perceived that its regulation, for High Education
at a federal level, is very recent. Because of
this, there is a gap in initiatives and research
in the sphere of education, with the entry
and permanence of students who entered
the University through affirmative policies.
Therefore, the objective of this study was to
understand the implementation of the quota
system of the UTFPR, Campus Dois Vizinhos,
in the Agronomy course. For that, a survey of
quantitative data of the academic system of the
Campus was carried out from the second half of 2011 until the current period, second half of 2017. The quantitative analysis sought
to relate the data of the quota students who entered, with those who evaded and the
regular students with whom they completed the course. The results indicate in general
the effectiveness of affirmative policies, by means of occupying the vacant positions in
the quota system.
