DO BRASIL ÀS TERRAS DE ALÉM MAR: O IMPACTO DA TRADIÇÃO COIMBRÃ NA FORMAÇÃO DOS BACHARÉIS EM DIREITO BRASILEIROS
O presente trabalho é um recorte de pesquisa de doutorado realizada no âmbito da Linha de História da Educação Comparada da Universidade Federal do Ceará – LHEC/UFC que elege como temática a influência da Universidade de Coimbra na formação de profissionais da área jurídica brasileiros com o objetivo de compreender o processo histórico pelo qual vem se dando a formação dos bacharéis em Direito no Brasil. Utilizando-se da revisão de literatura dos principais autores lidos ao longo do primeiro ano do curso de doutoramento o estudo aponta para o fato de que embora a criação e desenvolvimento dos primeiros cursos de Direito no Brasil estivessem apoiados no ideal da construção de uma nação brasileira os mesmo reproduziram práticas educativas da tradição Coimbrã que impactam até hoje a formação de bacharéis em Direito no Brasil.

Abstract:
The present work is an excerpt of doctoral research carried out within the scope of the Comparative Education History Line of the Federal University of Ceará - LHEC / UFC that chooses as its theme the influence of the University of Coimbra in the training of Brazilian legal professionals with the objective to understand the historical process by which the formation of law graduates in Brazil has been taking place. Using the literature review of the main authors read during the first year of the PhD course, the study points to the fact that although the creation and development of the first Law courses in Brazil were supported by the ideal of building a Brazilian nation they reproduced educational practices from the Coimbrã tradition that still have an impact on the formation of law graduates in Brazil.
