Divulgando o IFPR - O conhecimento além das Salas
Grande parte da expansão da Rede
Federal de Educação Profissional, Científica
e Tecnológica passa pela criação em 2008
dos Institutos Federais (IF’s), instituições
de ensino que se propõem a uma formação
contextualizada, regada de conhecimentos,
princípios e valores que potencializam a ação
humana na busca de caminhos de vida mais
dignos através da educação profissional e
tecnológica. Dentre estas instituições, destacase
o Instituto Federal do Paraná, que tem uma
história recente do estado, oriundo de outras
instituições de educação presentes há muitas
décadas. Este IF vem buscando consolidarse
como referência na educação profissional,
em especial em Curitiba, no qual o IFPR
possui a maior instituição pública a ofertar
esta modalidade de ensino. Para ampliar o
conhecimento da população em geral sobre a
existência do IFPR, seus cursos e sua produção
de conhecimento, projetos de extensão são
necessários, pois visam estreitar os laços
entre a comunidade externa e a instituição de
ensino. Nesta linha, apresenta-se o projeto
de extensão “IFPRa Todos: O conhecimento
além das Salas”, que visa divulgar os cursos
técnico integrados do IFPR – Campus Curitiba
em escolas públicas do município e da região
metropolitana.

Abstract:
Much of the expansion of the
Federal Professional Education Network, science
and technology is the creation in 2008 of the
Federal Institutes (IF’s), educational institutions
that propose a contextualized training, watered
knowledge, principles and values that enhance
human action in search for more dignified ways
of life through professional and technological
education. Among these institutions, there is the
Federal Institute of Paraná, which has a recent
history of the state, come from other educational
institutions present for many decades. This IF
is seeking to consolidate itself as a reference
in education, especially in Curitiba, which IFPR
has the largest public institution to offer this
type of education. To expand the knowledge of
the general public about the existence of IFPR,
their courses and their knowledge production,
extension projects are needed, as are aimed
at strengthening ties between the external
community and the educational institution. In

this line, we present the extension project “IFPRa All: Knowledge beyond the Rooms”,
which aims to promote the integrated technical courses IFPR - Campus Curitiba in
public schools in the city and the metropolitan area
