DIVERSIDADE ÉTNICO-RACIAL NA EDUCAÇÃO ESPECIAL DO MUNICÍPIO DE PATOS - PB: O QUE NOS DIZ O CENSO DA EDUCAÇÃO BÁSICA DE 2018
: A democracia é fortalecida com o amplo acesso à educação e à informação. Neste trabalho de pesquisa, utilizamos as informações geradas e disponibilizadas pelo Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (INEP) a respeito da Educação Básica no Brasil, com o intuito de entendermos como se configura a diversidade étnico-racial na Educação Especial da cidade de Patos - PB. Com a realização da pesquisa, de natureza quantitativa e descritiva, examinamos as proporções de cada grupo étnico-racial presente na educação especial de Patos, bem como suas distribuições no Estado da Paraíba, na Região Nordeste e no Brasil.

Abstract:
Democracy is strengthened with broad access to education and information. In this research work, we use the information generated and made available by the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP) regarding Basic Education in Brazil to understand how ethnic-racial diversity is configured in Special Education in the city of Patos - PB. With the research, quantitative and descriptive, we examined the proportions of each ethnic-racial group present in special education in Patos, and their distributions in the State of Paraíba, in the Northeast region, and Brazil
