DIVERSIDADE DE PTERIDÓFITAS EM ÁREAS URBANIZADAS E FRAGMENTOS DE FLORESTA ESTACIONAL SEMIDECIDUAL NO IFSULDEMINAS - CAMPUS INCONFIDENTES –
Este trabalho trata da diversidade de pteridófitas ocorrentes em fragmentos florestais e áreas urbanizadas do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Sul de Minas Gerais, no município de Inconfidentes-MG. O município está situado no sul do Estado de Minas Gerais, em latitude de 22º 19’ 00” S e longitude de 46º 19’ 40” W, dentro do Domínio Atlântico, conhecido por sua diversidade florística, inclusive da flora pteridofítica, sendo que a maior proporção de espécies ocorre em áreas montanhosas com predominância de formações florestais ombrófilas e semidecíduas. Foi realizado um levantamento que incluiu coleta, herborização e identificação dos espécimes, além de informações sobre seus hábitos preferenciais. Constatou-se a ocorrência de 23 espécies, distribuídas em 12 famílias e 15 gêneros. As famílias mais representativas foram Blechnaceae, Polypodiaceae e Pteridaceae, todas com quatro espécies representantes; para as demais famílias foram registrados entre um a dois representantes para cada. A maioria das espécies é terrestre com distribuição neotropical. Os resultados obtidos apontam para uma baixa diversidade quando comparados com outros estudos realizados em áreas de fitofisionomia semelhante.

Abstract:
This paper deals with the diversity of ferns occurring in forest fragments and urbanized areas of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Southern of Minas Gerais, in the city of Inconfidentes-MG, county located in the south of Minas Gerais State, at a latitude of 22º 19 '00 ”S and longitude of 46º 19' 40” W. This county is belonging to the Atlantic Domain, known for its floristic diversity, including the pteridophytic flora. The highest proportion of fern species occurs in mountainous areas with predominance of ombrophilous and semideciduous forest formations. A survey was conducted that included sample collection, herborization and identification, as well as information about their preferred habits. It was found 23 species, distributed in 12 families and 15 genera. The most representative families were Blechnaceae, Polypodiaceae and Pteridaceae, all with four representative species; for the other families, between one and two representatives were registered for each one. Most species are terrestrial with neotropical distribution. The results indicate a low diversity when compared to other studies conducted in areas of similar phytophysiognomy.
