Abstract: This scientific article investigates cultural diversity and inclusion in the school environment, with the aim of understanding how cultural diversity manifests itself in schools and what the needs and challenges are to promote effective inclusion. Using a literature review methodology, the study analyzed a wide range of academic literature and documents on the subject. This article is of a bibliographic nature whose general objective is to investigate the relationship between cultural diversity and inclusion in the school environment and the challenges of the 21st century. Specific objectives are: to understand how cultural diversity affects learning and school coexistence; to propose strategies to improve the inclusion of all students; and to verify the difficulties encountered by students in achieving equity in learning. The review revealed that the presence of students from different cultural backgrounds enriches the school environment, promoting an enriching cultural exchange and preparing students for a globalized world. However, the research also compromises several barriers to cultural inclusion, such as unconscious biases, lack of specific training for educators, and the absence of adequate educational policies. Cultural inclusion not only improves students' academic performance, but also promotes a positive and cohesive school environment. Continuous training of educators, implementation of more inclusive policies, and community engagement are key to overcoming these challenges. The study concludes with recommendations for future research, including the need to explore the effectiveness of cultural inclusion strategies in different school contexts.
