DISJUNÇÃO ESQUELÉTICA PALATAL SUSTENTADA POR MINI IMPLANTES ATRAVÉS DO SISTEMA MARPE/Palatal Skeletal Disjunction Supported by Mini Implants Through the MARPE System
A ossificação da sutura palatina mediana se inicia na adolescência, fase na qual a expansão de maxila já não responde satisfatoriamente aos me ios de tratamento com aparelhos expansores dento-suportados/dento-muco-suportados. Para o tratamento de pacientes que se encontram com atresia maxilar e próximo da fase adulta, devemos lançar mão de técnicas modificadas, com apoio esqueletal palatino. O objetivo deste trabalho é relatar um caso clínico de atresia maxilar, mordida cruzada posterior unilateral e caninos permanentes superiores em infra oclusão acometendo paciente do gênero feminino, com 15 anos de idade, que apresentava sutura palatina já ossificada, a qual foi disjuntada com o aparelho modificado suportado por mini implantes, denominado de sistema MARPE. O caso foi concluído com sucesso tendo importância para o contextos de ensino pois não houvesse necessidade de extração dos pré-molares superiores para a obtenção do espaço o que torna o caso singular.

Abstract:
Ossification of the midpalatal suture begins in adolescence, a stage in which maxillary expansion no longer responds satisfactorily to treatment with tooth-supported/too-mucus-supported expanders. For the treatment of patients with maxillary atresia and close to adulthood, we must use modified techniques, with palatal skeletal support. The objective of this study is to report a clinical case of maxillary atresia, unilateral posterior crossbite and maxillary permanent canines in infraocclusion, affecting a 15-year-old female patient, who presented an already ossified palatal suture, which was disjointed with the appliance. modified supported by mini implants, called MARPE system. The case was successfully concluded, having importance for the teaching contexts because there was no need to extract the upper premolars to obtain the space, which makes the case unique..
