DISCUTINDO GÊNERO E SEXUALIDADE NA EDUCAÇÃO FORMAL: TECENDO CAMINHOS PARA O RESPEITO À DIVERSIDADE SEXUAL
A escola não é isenta das
manifestações de ordem heteronormativa,
resultando em um processo educacional
excludente. Este trabalho irá discutir sobre a
questão de gênero e sexualidade na educação
formal na perspectiva de tecer caminhos para
o respeito à diversidade sexual. Realizamos
revisão bibliográfica, análise qualitativa e
quantitativa, aplicamos pesquisa de opinião
na Escola Alexandre Zacarias de Assunção,
em Belém/PA, com 08 profissionais e 22
estudantes do terceiro ano do Ensino Médio.
Todas/os concordaram com a relevância da
discussão deste assunto na escola, pois previne
diversas formas de preconceitos e promove o
reconhecimento do seu próprio corpo. Logo,
analisamos que ao discutir essa temática, a
escola contribui para construir sujeitos críticos
e humanitários.

Abstract:
The school is not exempt from
heteronormative manifestations, resulting in an
exclusionary educational process. This paper
will discuss the issue of gender and sexuality
in formal education from the perspective of
weaving paths for respect for sexual diversity.
We conducted a literature review, qualitative and
quantitative analysis, we applied opinion polls at
the Alexandre Zacarias de Asuncion School, in
Belém / PA, with 08 professionals and 22 third
year high school students of the third year of
high school. All agreed with the relevance of
discussing this subject in school, as it prevents
various forms of prejudice and promotes
recognition of their own body. Therefore, we
analyze that when discussing this theme, the
school contributes to build critical and respectful
subjects.
