Abstract: This work aims to ratify school mediation as an essential tool within the educational environment, as it addresses conflicts through dialogue-based techniques and active listening to the parties involved. This approach fosters a more harmonious, fair, and respectful community environment overall. In order to examine the discussions on conflict mediation in the school context over the past 10 years, an integrative review was chosen as the methodology. The analysis included the contribution of 8 articles, aiming to demonstrate the importance of conflict mediation as a tool used within the school society, with impacts extending beyond school walls. Thus, through the literature on conflict mediation, it was possible to perceive an expanded understanding of the theme and its positive outcomes in conflict resolution both within and outside the school. This is because the school environment functions as a "social resonance chamber," that is reflective of societal issues and behaviors.
