Desde a implantação dos Institutos

Federais de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia

(IFs), a SETEC/MEC relacionou essas

instituições às políticas para a Educação

Profissional e Tecnológica (EPT), com

processos de formação baseados na integração

entre ciência, tecnologia, trabalho e cultura. A

Lei 11892/2008 determina que os IFs sejam

responsáveis por ofertar licenciaturas nas áreas

de ciências e matemática, sem, no entanto,

se restringirem a essas áreas, formando

docentes para a Educação Básica e para a

EPT. Este artigo discute sobre a presença

das bases conceituais da EPT nos Projetos

Pedagógicos dos Cursos (PPC) de Licenciatura

em Matemática do Instituto Federal da Bahia.

Como procedimento metodológico, realizouse a pesquisa bibliográfica nos documentos

oficiais, na literatura que trata das bases

conceituais da EPT e da formação docente.

Deste estudo concluiu-se que há ausência das

referidas bases nos PPCs analisados. Em um

trabalho a posteriori buscar-se-á estudos que

justifiquem a proposição de uma disciplina

obrigatória sobre as bases conceituais da EPT

nos cursos de Licenciatura em Matemática do

IFBA.

Abstract:
Since the establishment of the

Federal Institutes of Education, Science and

Technology (IFs), the SETEC / MEC has linked

these institutions to the policies for Vocational

and Technological Education (EFA), with

training processes based on the integration

of science, technology, labor and culture. The

Law 11892/2008 establishes that the IFs are

responsible for offering degrees in the areas

of science and mathematics, without, however,

being restricted to these areas, forming teachers

for Basic Education and for EFA. This article discusses the presence of the conceptual bases of the EPT in the Pedagogical Projects

of the Courses of Degree in Mathematics of the IFBA. As a methodological procedure,

the bibliographic research was carried out in the official documents, in the literature

that deals with the conceptual bases of EFA and teacher education. From this study it

was concluded that there are no such bases in the PPCs analyzed. In a posteriori work

will be looked for studies that justify the proposition of a compulsory discipline on the

conceptual bases of the EPT in the courses of Degree in Mathematics of the IFBA
