Disclosure dos Ativos Intangíveis das Empresas Brasileiras do setor de Tecnologia da Informação listadas na BM&FBOVESPA.
Com o mundo globalizado e o mercado competitivo, os ativos intangíveis
ganham importância no mundo dos negócios, pois se trata de um componente
fundamental para agregar valor à empresa. Por considerar o setor da tecnologia da
informação (TI) um importante ramo ao se avaliar os ativos intangíveis, e por haver
poucos estudos sobre a evidenciação dos intangíveis por esse setor é que se deu a
escolha do estudo. O trabalho foi fruto de uma revisão bibliográfica na literatura
sobre o assunto e uma análise documental nas demonstrações financeiras nas
entidades da amostra. O objetivo geral do estudo foi verificar o nível de
evidenciação do Ativo Intangível nas empresas brasileiras do setor de Tecnologia
da Informação listadas na BM&FBOVESPA. Os resultados apontaram que das
empresas pesquisadas, a Bematech e Linx foram às que divulgaram mais itens do
checklist, ou seja, as que tiveram um maior grau de evidenciação, com 84,61% de
itens divulgados. Foi constatado, que as empresas que mais divulgaram os itens do
checklist fazem parte do Novo Mercado da BM&FBovespa. Ficou evidente no
estudo que as empresas da pesquisa têm que melhorar as informações fornecidas
em suas demonstrações.

Abstract:
With the globalized world and the competitive market, intangible assets
become more important in the business world, because it is a key component to
add value to the company. Considering the sector of information technology (IT) an
important branch when evaluating intangible assets, and there are few studies on
the disclosure of intangible in this sector is that it has the choice of study. The work
was the result of a literature review of the literature on the subject and document
analysis in the financial statements in the sample entities. The overall objective of
the study was to investigate the disclosure level of Intangible Assets in Brazilian
companies in the information technology sector listed on the BM&FBOVESPA. The
results showed that the surveyed companies, Bematech, and Linx went to that
released more items of the checklist, so, those who had a higher degree of
disclosure, with 84.61% of disclosed items. It was found that the companies that
released the checklist items are part of the new market of the BM&FBovespa. It
became clear in the study that the companies in the survey have to improve the
information provided in their statements.
