DIRETRIZES NORTEADORAS SOBRE O TRANSTORNO DO ESPECTRO AUTISTA NO BRASIL

O transtorno do espectro autista vem ganhando cada vez mais visibilidade social e científica, e, por isso, apresenta políticas públicas específicas que servem para nortear o trabalho de profissionais da saúde e garantir seus direitos e de seus familiares. Dessa forma, objetiva-se apresentar um panorama sobre as políticas públicas vigentes em cenário federal. Foram encontrados seis documentos. A análise se deu por meio da análise de conteúdo, sendo categorizada em: caracterização, avaliação/diagnóstico, intervenção, e responsabilidade social. Os resultados indicam que os documentos apresentam informações importantes para nortear a prática profissional, assegurar o direito de pessoas com o transtorno, e para a conscientização da comunidade. Conclui-se que, o conhecimento das normativas é um importante passo inicial, mas ainda há muito o que avançar.

  • Abstract: Autistic spectrum disorder is increasingly gaining social and scientific visibility and, therefore, has specific public policies that serve to guide the work of health professionals and guarantee their and their families rights. Thus, the objective is to present an overview of public policies in force at the federal. Six documents were found. The analysis took place through content analysis, being categorized into: characterization, evaluation/diagnosis, intervention, social responsibility. The results indicate that the documents present important information for professional practice, for guaranteeing the rights of people with the disorder and for raising community awareness. It is concluded that knowledge of regulation is an important initial step, but there is still much to be done.
