Dificuldades de acesso e permanência de adolescentes com câncer na Educação Básica
O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar
a partir de pesquisas sobre adolescentes com
câncer, como é para eles vivenciar o abandono
escolar. Para alcançar tal objetivo, foi feito o
levantamento de textos, tais como: sete artigos
científicos, cinco livros, três dissertações
e duas teses, dentre os quais, dois foram
selecionados para debates mais aprofundados,
por explicitarem na voz do próprio adolescente
com câncer, como é para ele vivenciar essa
ruptura. Logo, foi uma pesquisa de abordagem
qualitativa de cunho bibliográfico. A coleta
de dados foi feita por meio de uma página
na internet e o método se apresentou como
sendo o da análise documental. Dentre os
resultados alcançados, constatou-se que os
adolescentes percebem a escola de maneira
positiva, se ressentem das ausências das aulas
e denunciam os professores e as autoridades
escolares, por não entenderem tal momento.
Esses achados demonstram as contribuições
que a classe hospitalar pode trazer para esse
alunado no processo de dar continuidade aos
seus estudos escolares, a fim de que, não
venham a interromper seus estudos. Considerase
que os professores e autoridades escolares,
precisam ser informados sobre a doença e o
tratamento, para que tanto eles como toda a
comunidade escolar não venham a ter possíveis
atitudes de preconceito frente a esses alunos.

Abstract:
The aim of this study was to identify
from research on adolescents with cancer, as
this students experience the school drop-out.
To reach the proposed objective, it was made a
selection of texts, such as: seven scientific paper,
five books, three dissertations and two theories,
among the ones which, two were selected for
debates more deepened in the present article,
for they explain in the own adolescent’s voice
with cancer, as it is for him to live that rupture.
Therefore, it was a research of qualitative and
bibliographical approach. The selection of
data was made through a page in the internet
and the method was of documental analysis.
Among the reached results, it was verified that
the adolescents notice the school in a positive
way, they are resented of the absences of the
classes and they denounce the teachers and
the school authorities, for they understand not
such moment. Those discoveries demonstrate
the contributions that the hospital school can
bring for those students in the process of giving
continuity to their school studies, so that, don’t
come to interrupt their studies. It is ended that the teachers and school authorities,
need to be informed on the disease and the treatment, so that as much them as the
whole school community they don’t come to have possible attitudes of prejudice front
the those students.
