DIFERENÇAS NA COMPREENSÃO DE MEIO AMBIENTE E INTERAÇÃO COM A NATUREZA DE ESTUDANTES DE CIÊNCIAS DA NATUREZA E ENFERMAGEM
A crescente urbanização tem afastado os seres humanos da conexão com a natureza, interferindo diretamente no processo de sensibilização frente à conservação ambiental. Diante disso, o objetivo desse estudo foi avaliar se existe diferença na compreensão de meio e interação com a natureza entre graduandos de Licenciatura em Ciências da Natureza e Bacharelado em Enfermagem, além de avaliar que fatores influenciam no contato com a natureza, e se a proximidade com a natureza influencia a compreensão dos discentes sobre meio ambiente. Participaram desta pesquisa quanti-qualitativa 30 graduandos, sendo 15 de cada curso, com idade entre 21 e 45 anos. Os discentes que não experienciaram a natureza quando criança compartilham dos mesmos sentimentos que os que a experienciaram, e os entrevistados estão propensos a se sentirem à vontade e apreciarem qualquer tipo de local em contato com a natureza. Os resultados mostraram ainda que predomina entre os discentes de Ciências da Natureza uma visão reducionista de meio ambiente, excluindo o ser humano. No entanto, entre os discentes de Enfermagem predomina a visão abrangente. Concluiu-se que as concepções de meio recebem contribuições de aportes teóricos dos cursos de graduação, e que os estudantes precisam vivenciar os ambientes naturais para gerar sensibilização e mudança na compreensão de meio ambiente. Assim, é provável que se percebam como parte integrante do meio ambiente, potencializando atitudes referentes à conservação da natureza.

Abstract:
Growing urbanization has taken human beings away from the connection with nature, directly interfering in the process of raising awareness of environmental conservation. Therefore, the objective of this study was to evaluate whether there is a difference in the perception and interaction with nature between undergraduates of the Degree in Natural Sciences and Bachelor of Nursing, in addition to evaluating which factors influence the contact with nature and whether the proximity to nature influences students' understanding of the environment. Thirty undergraduates participated in this quantitative-qualitative research, 15 from each course, aged between 21 and 45 years. Students who did not experience nature as a child share the same feelings as those who did, and people are likely to feel comfortable and appreciate any type of place in contact with nature. The results also showed that a reductionist view of the environment prevails among the students of Natural Sciences, excluding the human being. However, among Nursing students, the comprehensive view predominates. It was concluded that the conceptions of environment receive theoretical contributions from undergraduate courses, and that students need to experience natural environments to generate awareness and change in environmental perception. Thus, it is likely that they perceive themselves as an integral part of the environment, enhancing attitudes towards nature conservation.
