Abstract: The project aimed to approuch Menstrual Education in a school in the city of Dois Vizinhos-PR, using Menstrual Health as its central theme. Contrasting the limitations of the National Curriculum Parameters (PCNs) and the most recent National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), the research was based on a critical and emancipatory approach. Menstruation, historically marked by taboos, discrimination, and stigmas, posed a collective challenge. Approached critically, menstrual health sought to transcend the traditional biological-hygienic approach, relating menstruation to broader and transformative societal issues. Methodologically, a qualitative approach was used, the intervention-research. quizzes were applied in Google Forms® exploring knowledge and perceptions about menstruation, followed by an intervention with a script approuching menstruation from physiological, social, and environmental perspectives. The project not only sought to increase understanding of menstrual health but also acted as a tool for emancipation and liberation. In a broader context, it aimed to contribute to the transformation of the social reality of the students, promoting a more informed and critical discussion about menstruation.
