Abstract: This research was conducted in Combinado-TO, focusing on local environmental challenges and promoting environmental education. With a participatory approach, 287 residents were interviewed by high school students using structured questionnaires across seven thematic categories. The study identified issues such as pollution, wildfires, deforestation, poor sanitation, and improper waste disposal. Data were statistically analyzed to understand community perceptions and propose sustainable solutions. The initiative aligns with the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals and emphasizes youth protagonism, school-community integration, and the use of digital tools. The findings provide support for public policies and educational practices aimed at fostering local sustainability.
