DIAGNÓSTICO DOS RESÍDUOS GERADOS EM UM DEPARTAMENTO DE MÓVEIS DE UMA EMPRESA VAREJISTA NA CIDADE DE MANAUS-AM
O gerenciamento de resíduos sólidos é considerado um dos principais desafios enfrentados no mundo atual. A problemática residual é proveniente do impulsionamento das práticas de consumos, nos quais diariamente geram toneladas de rejeitos e resíduos que são destinados a aterros sanitários e lixões a céu aberto, quando poderiam ser reciclados ou reutilizados. Desta forma, a finalidade deste estudo é propor a elaboração do Plano de Gerenciamento de Resíduos Sólidos para um departamento de móveis de uma empresa do varejo localizada no município de Manaus-AM. Em virtude do recebimento mensal de mercadorias no departamento objeto deste estudo e da ausência da correta aplicação das etapas para gerenciamento dos resíduos, conforme descritas no Plano Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos – PNRS, realizou-se o acompanhamento dos principais resíduos gerados no mês de abril do ano corrente, sendo identificados os componentes plástico, papel/papelão, tecidos e resíduos de madeira. Ainda, a análise realizada obteve como resultado a geração de 80% resíduos de Classe II A – Não Inerte e 20% de Classe II B – Inertes, o que reforça a necessidade de implementar um adequado Plano de de Gerenciamento de Resíduos Sólidos – PGRS para realizar a correta segregação e destinação dos resíduos sólidos, visando a saúde dos colaboradores e da manutenção meio ambiente.

Abstract:
: Solid waste management is considered one of the main challenges faced in the current world. The residual problem comes from the impetus of consumption practices, these consumptions that daily generate tons of tailings that are sent to landfills and garbage dumps, when they could be recycled or reused. Thus, the purpose of this research is to propose the preparation of a Solid Waste Management Plan for a furniture department of a retail company located in Manaus, Amazonas state capital. Due to the monthly receipt of goods in the department object of this study and the lack of correct application of the steps for waste management, as described in the Brazilian National Solid Waste Plan - PNRS, the main waste generated in April of the current year, identifying plastic, paper/cardboard, fabrics and wood waste components. Furthermore, the analysis performed resulted in the generation of eighty percent (80%) of the Class II waste - Non-Inert and twenty percent (20%) Class II B - Inert waste, which reinforces the need to implement an adequate Solid Waste Management Plan to carry out the correct segregation and disposal of waste solid, aiming at the health of employees and the maintenance of the environment.
