DIAGNÓSTICO DO SETOR MADEIREIRO E A PROBLEMÁTICA DOS RESÍDUOS SÓLIDOS ORIUNDOS DA ATIVIDADE NO MUNICÍPIO DE LARANJAL DO JARI- AP
O setor madeireiro no município
de Laranjal do Jari-AP, enfrenta diversas
adversidades para se manter em funcionamento
tais como: a ausência de incentivos
governamentais, dificuldade em adquirir
matéria-prima, entretanto, o que mais se
agrava é a falta de legalização de prestadores
de serviços, se tornando assim o principal fator
de inibição ao crescimento, apesar de todas as
dificuldades enfrentadas os segmentos atuantes
ainda conseguem movimentar uma pequena
parcela na economia local. De encontro com
esta atividade ocorrem a problemática dos
resíduos sólidos madeireiros, as quais são
geradas a partir do processamento. A maior
adversidade ambiental encontrada neste setor
se encontra na destinação final destes resíduos
no município ocorrendo de maneira irregular,
nas redondezas dos estabelecimentos ou
em áreas de várzea, utilizado como aterro,
o que por sua vez acarreta fatores de riscos
ao ambiente e a sociedade. O objetivo desta
pesquisa foi diagnosticar o setor madeireiro e
analisar a problemática ambiental envolta na
disposição final dos resíduos sólidos oriundos
da atividade no município de Laranjal do Jari
– AP, ressaltando os impactos causados pelo
setor no âmbito social, econômico e ambiental.

Abstract:
The lumber sector in the
municipality of Laranjal do Jari-AP, faces several
adversities to remain in operation such as: the
absence of government incentives, difficulty to
acquire raw material, however, what is worse is
the lack of legalization of providers of services,
thus becoming the main factor inhibiting growth,
despite all the difficulties faced by the acting
segments still manage to move a small part in
the local economy. This activity produces the
problem of solid wood waste, which is generated
from processing. The greatest environmental adversity found in this sector is found in
the final destination of this waste in the municipality occurring irregularly, in the vicinity
of establishments or in areas of várzea, used as a landfill, which in turn leads to risk
factors to the environment and society. The objective of this research was to diagnose
the wood sector and analyze the environmental problems involved in the final disposal
of solid waste from the activity in the municipality of Laranjal do Jari - AP, highlighting
the impacts caused by the sector in the field social, economic and environmental
