DIAGNÓSTICO DO GERENCIAMENTO DE RESÍDUOS SÓLIDOS DE UMA OFICINA MECÂNICA DE PEQUENO PORTE
O desenvolvimento elevado que a
sociedade moderna viveu no período após a
revolução industrial, impulsionou na necessidade
de matérias-primas o que, consequentemente,
ocasiona maior geração de resíduo. Dentro
do contexto, o setor automobilístico é um
grande contribuinte para essa questão, pois
o carro é um objeto imprescindível no ritmo
acelerado que vivemos. As oficinas mecânicas
atuam como auxiliares importantes para o
bom funcionamento deste meio de transporte,
porém, as mesmas acabam gerando diversos
resíduos, como óleos lubrificantes usados,
embalagens plásticas, estopas, entre outros. É
necessário o correto destino desses resíduos,
pois um gerenciamento eficiente evita que
problemas ambientais e sociais venham a ser
ocasionados. No presente trabalho realizou-se
um diagnóstico acerca dos resíduos gerados
em uma oficina mecânica, de forma a otimizar
o uso da matéria-prima, evitar o desperdício e
a destinação incorreta destes. A metodologia
utilizada foi baseada em 3 visitas no local e em
entrevista com o proprietário do estabelecimento.
A análise na oficina realizada foi satisfatória,
pois a empresa realiza o descarte correto dos
resíduos, contudo, algumas mudanças devem
ser tomadas para melhorar o que já é realizado.

Abstract:
With the fast development that
modern society had lived in the period after the
industrial revolution, as it had boosted the need for raw materials, consequently leaded
to a greater generation of waste. Within the context, the automobile sector is a great
contributor to this issue, because the car is an essential object in the fast moving world
that we live. Mechanic shops act as important auxiliaries for the proper functioning of this
means of transportation, however, they end up generating a lot of waste, such as used
lubricating oils, plastic packaging, tow, among others. It is important to find the correct
destination of these wastes, since efficient management prevents environmental and
social problems from being caused. In this present paper, a diagnosis was made about
the wastes generated in a mechanic’s shop, in order to optimize the use of the raw
material, to avoid the waste and the incorrect destination of these. The methodology
used was based on 3 site visits and an interview with the owner of an establishment.
The analysis in the shop was satisfactory, as the company carries out the correct waste
disposal, however, some changes must be made to improve what is already done.
