• Abstract: The objective of the research will be to present the main actions to contribute to sustainability in the urban environment of Barra do Corda. Check improvement actions for floristic urbanization; describe the systems of public transport, garbage collection, effluent treatment and potable water. For this, it will be divided into two stages: bibliographical research for the theoretical survey and field research to be analyzed and identified the main actions in the municipality. Tree planting and practices that correlate to sustainable development will also be presented, showing its importance within the urban environment through the growth of urbanization, and its consequences related to the environment and climate where important actions will be developed that will contribute to well-being and quality of life future.
