DIAGNÓSTICO DA GESTÃO DOS RECURSOS HÍDRICOS COM UMA PERSPECTIVA DE GÊNERO NAS COMUNIDADES MAIAS DO MÉXICO
Esta pesquisa permite diagnosticar a gestão dos recursos hídricos a partir de uma perspectiva de gênero em ecossistemas lênticos das comunidades maias de Punta Laguna e Campamento Hidalgo y Cortez localizadas na parte oriental da península de Yucatán, identificando o papel de mulheres e homens. , acesso, proteção e conservação da água. O problema detectado é que são as mulheres que diariamente enfrentam a falta e os obstáculos de acesso à água potável, e que resolvem essa necessidade familiar, pois está intimamente ligada ao cotidiano de trabalho que lhes é atribuído dentro de casa. Implementar projetos em que as mulheres participam da tomada de decisões na gestão da água ajuda a fazer um melhor uso dos recursos hídricos. A metodologia utilizada baseia-se no trabalho participativo da sociedade, aplicado a um representante por habitação pelo método de agrupamento com interpretação dos instrumentos em espanhol e maia, com o apoio do município e dos comissários municipais. Com os resultados obtidos, observa-se a importância de trabalhar com a população para destacar a valorização da mulher na comunidade para que faça parte da tomada de decisões derivada do fato de os homens valorizarem mais a importância da mulher na gestão. do recurso hídrico do que eles próprios.

Abstract:
This research allows diagnosing the management of water resources through a gender perspective in lentic ecosystems of the Mayan communities of Punta Laguna and Campamento Hidalgo y Cortez located in the eastern part of the Yucatan peninsula, identifying the role of women and men. men in the use, access, protection and conservation of water. The problem detected is that women are the ones who daily face the lack and obstacles to access drinking water, and who solve this family need, since it is closely linked to the daily work assigned to them inside the homes. Implementing projects where women are part of decision-making in water management helps better use of water resources. The methodology used is based on the participatory work of the society, applied to one representative per dwelling by the grouping method with interpretation of the instruments in Spanish and Mayan, with the support of the municipality and the municipal commissioners. With the results obtained, it is observed how important it is to work with the population to highlight the value of women in the community so that it is part of decision-making derived from the fact that men value more the importance of women in the administration of the resource water than themselves.
