DIAGNÓSTICO AMBIENTAL EM BALNEÁRIOS PÚBLICOS NA REGIÃO OESTE DO ESTADO DE SÃO PAULO, BRASIL
Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar as condições ambientais de balneários públicos em dois municípios na região Oeste do Estado de São Paulo. Mais especificamente, este estudo analisou os balneários de Teodoro Sampaio e Rosana, por meio de protocolos de avaliação rápida – PARs, que foram adaptados considerando as áreas e objetivos de estudo, principalmente, quanto aos usos para recreação e turismo. Os resultados mostraram a existência de alterações antrópicas nos balneários estudados, as quais estiveram diretamente relacionadas à transformação para atender os usos para recreação e turismo e os impactos. Os impactos associados ao uso recreativo foram agravados no período de alta temporada.

Abstract:
This work aims to analyze the environmental conditions of continental beaches in two counties in the western region of the State of São Paulo. More specifically, this study analyzed the beaches of Teodoro Sampaio and Rosana, by means of rapid assessment protocols - PARs, which were adapted considering the areas and objectives of the study, mainly regarding the uses for recreation and tourism. The results showed the existence of anthropic changes in the resorts studied, which were directly related to the transformation to meet the uses for recreation and tourism and the impacts. The impacts associated with recreational use were exacerbated in the high season.
