DIABETES MELLITUS GESTACIONAL: SUAS COMPLICAÇÕES E A IMPORTÂNCIA DO CUIDADO DE ENFERMAGEM
Introdução: A diabetes mellitus gestacional é uma doença característica do período gestacional. As consultas de pré-natal são uma ferramenta importante para diagnóstico de tal patologia. Quando descoberta e tratada corretamente diminui consideravelmente os riscos perinatais. Objetivo: descrever as possíveis complicações decorrentes da Diabetes Mellitus Gestacional, bem como compreender o papel da enfermagem frente a este agravo, de modo a observar a assistência sob visão holística e tridimensional do enfermeiro e sua equipe. Metodologia: Trata-se uma revisão integrativa, realizada através do levantamento bibliográfico entre os meses de março a maio de 2020. Resultados: Foram encontradas 07 amostras cientificas que respondiam aos critérios de pesquisa desse presente estudo, no qual trabalhavam com questões referentes a Diabetes Mellitus Gestacional, complicações na gravidez e o papel da enfermagem, assim como estratégias de orientações no serviço de saúde as gestantes e a família. Conclusão: Os estudos apontaram déficits das gestantes quanto o autocuidado e a importância da orientação parte do enfermeiro e da equipe multidisciplinar com objetivo de estimular a mulher a se cuidar, e monitorizar a relação destas com o autocuidado.

Abstract:
Introduction: Gestational diabetes mellitus is a characteristic disease of the gestational period. Prenatal consultations are an important tool for diagnosing such pathology. When discovered and treated correctly, perinatal risks are considerably reduced. Objective: to describe the possible complications resulting from Gestational Diabetes Mellitus, as well as to understand the role of nursing in the face of this condition, in order to observe the care under a holistic and three-dimensional view of the nurse and his team. Methodology: This is an integrative review, carried out through a bibliographic survey between the months of March to May 2020. Results: Seven scientific samples were found that met the research criteria of this study, in which they worked with questions related to Diabetes Mellitus Gestational, pregnancy complications and the role of nursing, as well as guidance strategies in the health service for pregnant women and their families. Conclusion: The studies pointed out deficits of pregnant women regarding self-care and the importance of guidance from the nurse and the multidisciplinary team in order to encourage women to take care of themselves, and to monitor their relationship with self-care.
