DEUS SALVE O REI E O GOVERNO BRASILEIRO: APROXIMAÇÕES ENTRE A FICÇÃO E A REALIDADE
A reflexão crítica descrita a seguir foi
desencadeada pela interpretação de uma cena
da novela Deus Salve o Rei, da Rede Globo de
Televisão, e sua assimilação com algumas ações
do então governo de Michel Miguel Elias Temer
Lulia (2016-2018), do Movimento Democrático
Brasileiro (MDB). Como campo empírico,
além de episódios do novelístico global, foram
analisadas publicações de sites de notícias
de entidades da sociedade civil e do aparelho
governamental da época. Correlacionaramse
elementos: impopularidade da gestão,
democracia e políticas educacionais, aos
enunciados das personagens da ficção e dos
discursos e ações do então referido Presidente
da República publicados durante seu mandato.
Demonstram-se aproximações de alguns atos
da personagem do Rei na ficção com a atuação
do então governo Temer na vida real, resultando
em feitos autoritários e com baixa aprovação
nas pesquisas de opinião pública.

Abstract:
The critical reflection described
below was triggered by the interpretation of
a scene from the soap opera God Save the
King, from Rede Globo de Televisão, and its
assimilation with some actions of the then
government of Michel Miguel Elias Temer Lulia
(2016-2018), Brazilian Democratic Movement
(MDB). were analyzed episodes of the global
novelist, publications of news sites of civil society
entities and Temer’s government. The elements
correlated were: unpopularity of management,
democracy and educational policies, the
statements of fictional characters and the
speeches and actions of the then President
published during his term. Demonstrations of
some of the acts of the King’s character in fiction
are demonstrated with the performance of the
then real government, resulting in authoritative
actions and low popularity.
